Toby Lloyd

Toby Lloyd is a new voice in literary fiction, writing about British Jewish experiences. Taught by E. L. Doctorow and Jonathan Safran Foer on NYU’s prestigious Creative Writing MFA, Toby has published stories and essays in Carve Magazine, the Los Angeles Review of Books and elsewhere. He was longlisted for the 2021 V. S. Pritchett
Short Story Prize. He lives in London.

Chair biography

Ali Millar

Born in Scotland and now living in London, Ali Millar is an author and journalist. Her debut memoir, The Last Days, was released by Penguin Random House to widespread critical acclaim in 2022. Ava Anna Ada is her debut novel.
