Something special for opening night: the launch of Colour In…Jewish UK, an exciting addition to Emma Barnett and Jeremy Weil ‘s local colouring book range, Colour Your Streets. Created especially in time for our 74th festival, this wonderful colouring book celebrates the country’s Jewish communities, inviting people of all ages to come together to colour in landmarks they love and sights they have yet to discover.

BBC Today presenter Emma Barnett and her husband Jeremy Weil’s highly popular series now covers over 150 cities, towns and neighbourhoods. Join them for a joyous discussion about Jewish places, identity, the importance of home, and why we love seeing where we live celebrated in a colouring book. In conversation with JW3’s director of programming, William Galinsky.

About the speakers

William Galinsky

William is Director of Programming & Impact at JW3, where he has been responsible for several significant initiatives including the London Jewish Mural, JW3’s annual Panto, and the JW3 Social Action Incubator. William studied Slavonic languages at Oxford before embarking on a career as a theatre and arts festival director.
Emma Barnett & Jeremy Weil

Emma Barnett and Jeremy Weil co-founded their family publishing business, Colour Your Streets in 2023, not long after the birth of their daughter. Inspired by their pram walks around their local neighbourhood with their older son, they created Colour In Brixton and Colour In Herne Hill. The Colour Your Streets family is now at over 150 books.
