This special event honors his lasting impact on both screen and stage, with his wife, Maureen Lipman, leading the celebration alongside close friends and family. Their daughter, Amy Rosenthal, will be joined by Geoff Morrow, Jeremy Robson, and Colin Schindler for an insightful and heartfelt discussion on Jack Rosenthal’s remarkable contribution to the arts.
From writing for Coronation Street throughout the 1960s to Alec Guinness’ final role in Eskimo Day, and writing Yentl with Barbra Streisand, Jack delighted film and television viewers for over 40 years.
A BAFTA winner for The Bar Mitzvah Boy, The Knowledge, and Spend, Spend, Spend as well as EMMY recipient for The Evacuees, he also created ITV sitcoms The Dustbin Men and The Lovers, along with the series London’s Burning.
