Carole Berman was born in London and worked for Sotheby’s in London and New York, later studying History of Art at University College, London, then Fine Art at Chelsea and Wimbledon Schools of Art. She chaired the Ben Uri Art Committee between 1992 and 1995. Her solo exhibitions include Shamanic Heads (1995), The Mystery of Meeting (1997) and In the Midst of the Garden (2001) at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery. Her Red Sea Paintings were shown in both Jerusalem and London in 2005.
