Sandra returned to learning as a mature student back in the 1980s and gained her M.A in Jewish studies at University College London mentored by two great scholars of Jewish History, the late Vivian Lipman and David Ceserani. She then became a Board member of the Spiro Institute followed by the London Jewish Cultural Centre until its closure. She lives in London, has been married to her husband Bernie for many years & has 3 adult children & grandchildren. A History of Norwood is her first publication.
