Alec Nacamuli is a British Museum volunteer guide covering the Egypt, Islamic Art and Money galleries. He was born and spent his childhood in Alexandria. A retired IT executive, he is a trustee of Sephardi Voices UK, an oral history project recording the life memories of Jews who left Arab countries and resettled in the UK, and also a council member of the Nebi Daniel Association dedicated to the preservation in situ of the cultural and religious heritage of Jews from Egypt.
