Support for Jewish Writers

Writing can be lonely. Experiences of exclusion or antisemitism, or a sense that professional doors are closing, can make it lonelier still. You don’t have to navigate this on your own.

The Jewish Literary Foundation is bringing writers together for peer support and practical advice. Through regular gatherings, we aim to provide a warm, confidential space to share experiences and exchange ideas. We’ll also direct writers to useful resources and specialist support where appropriate.

Whether you’re dealing with a difficult professional experience or would welcome the company of fellow writers, we would love to hear from you. Join our mailing list for details on upcoming meetings of the Jewish Literary Foundation Writers Network.

Practical resources

For writers facing boycott pressure, cancellation or exclusion, Freedom in the Arts’ Art Beyond Boycott Toolkit offers practical guidance on responding professionally, recording concerns and seeking further advice.
