Alex Bruner

Alex Bruner is a former international management consultant and fundraiser. A child of Holocaust survivors from the former Yugoslavia who remained in Europe after World War II, he has lived in and worked on three continents. His special interest is the history of the Jewish people.

He was instrumental in publishing the English translation of Cold Crematorium, his uncle’s Holocaust memoir originally written in Hungarian in 1950. The book has been chosen by The New York Times as one of the top 10 works of 2024 and has been translated into more than a dozen languages worldwide.Alex was the chief Palm Beach fundraiser for the Weizmann Institute of Science (Rehovot, Israel), and represented binational agencies assisting early-stage Israeli companies. He holds a BS, Ch. Eng. (High Honors) from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
