Etgar Keret is a world-renowned Israeli writer known for his short stories, graphic novels, scriptwriting for film and television and his books were translated to more than 45 languages. Keret received the Prime Minister’s Award for Literature and the 2016 Charles Bronfman Prize. His 2017 book Glitch at the Edge of the Galaxy won Israel’s prestigious Sapir Prize in Literature. In 2010, Keret was honored in France with the decoration of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The film Jellyfish, which Keret directed together with his wife Shira Geffen, received the Camera d’Or prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Keret is a professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
