Joe Haddow is a children’s author, radio producer and podcast host. Having worked for the BBC for many years, he now runs a production company – making radio shows, documentaries and podcasts.

He was the host of the Booker Prize podcast for 5 years, and also presents the popular Book Off! podcast too. Joe has run the BBC Radio 2 Book Club since 2010 – and in 2019, headed up the BBC’s 100 Novels That Shaped Our World campaign for BBC Arts. He is one of the judges for the Theakstons Old Peculiar Crime Novel of the Year Award – and regularly appears as a chair at literary festivals. In 2023, he published Art Is Everywhere – his first book for children.
