Karen Skinazi is Professor of Modern Jewish Literature & Culture and Director of Louchheim School for Judaic Studies at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles. She is currently revising Ness, a saga following generations of Jewish women. Based on an excerpt, Karen was selected to be part of the inaugural Genesis Emerging Writers Programme and paired with mentor Tracy Chevalier.
