Larry Finlay worked at Transworld Publishers (a Division of Penguin Random House since 2013) for more than 40 years, and was its Managing Director for 23 years. 

Among the authors he published are Bill Bryson, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking and Prince Harry in non-fiction, and many of the UK’s biggest-selling novelists, including Kate Atkinson, John Boyne, Dan Brown, Lee Child, Catherine Cookson, Jilly Cooper, Ben Elton, Frederick Forsyth, Paula Hawkins, Joseph Heller, Bonnie Garmus, Sophie Kinsella, Shari Lapena, Ruth Jones, Terry Pratchett and Markus Zusak.

He’s a passionate reader and keen to share his knowledge with aspiring authors who’d like to see their work in print
